We are delighted to announce the signing of our partnership agreement with the Formation Continue UNIL-EPFL (the “FCUE”), an educational institution carrying out continuing education programmes in Lausanne, Switzerland, for the Master of Advanced Studies in International Business Law (LL.M).
The FCUE groups together the continuing education activities of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). UNIL has a new postgraduate programme in law (LL.M. in International Business Law) with an interdisciplinary, comparative and practice-oriented approach to business law, enabling young lawyers to face the legal challenges in today’s global business environment. The programme offers the highest quality of teaching in small group settings delivered by an international team of distinguished academics and practitioners. It proposes five specialisations (International Business Law and Innovation, International Business Law and Sports, International Business Disputes, International Business Transactions, International Business Regulation) or a bespoke pick-and-choose programme in International Business Law which enables students to select courses according to their personal interests and needs.
Through the acquisition of knowledge and competence and the contact with international legal practice, the graduates of this programme will gain the preparation to become highly-skilled experts and decision-makers in international law firms, courts, multi-national enterprises, international organisations and academia.
The Spark of Hope Foundation has supported eight students in the programme, from a wide range of countries: Biondina Hulaj (Kosovo), Pamela Torres (Peru), Sima Ghorbani (Iran), Dessy Tampi (Indonesia), Lyssa Brito (India), Sahra Gunalp (Turkey), Lorena Benítez Garzón (Ecuador) and Lydiia Kulchytska (Ukraine).
